The Probation Officers Association of Ontario (POAO) has been meeting the professional needs of Probation and Parole Officers and Probation Officers within the Province of Ontario for nearly 60 years. POAO endeavors to promote and foster educational opportunities for members, increase the profile and understanding of the work completed by Probation and Parole Officers and Probation Officers, to promote community and victim safety, to promote the diversity of our members and to meet the cultural needs of our clients and to speak with credibility on issues related to criminal justice. POAO is a voluntary, non-profit organization sustainable through member support.
